After Kevin and I reminded Nathan that it was Christmas morning, we got Pixie up and headed down to see what Santa brought us. The kids loved the kitchen that my mom gave them. Nathan's favorite gift were these rubber puzzles his Mimi and Poppop sent and Rylie really had a thing for Nathan's Wall-E. We got to Skype Kevin's mom all the way in Qatar, which was pretty cool. Nathan was excited to show off some of his German to Omi.
After all the present opening, Nate gravitated to Rylie's tea set and Rylie struck up a relationship with Nate's Wall-E. Perfect. :)
We headed to Virginia after trying to get some Christmas shots of us and the kids. By the time we got to taking some of me and the kids, no one was up for looking at the camera except Rylie. Oh well....one day we will get a family picture. 2009 is our year, I can feel it.
